LifeSafety.ai Wins AI Impact Award — MK STEM Awards 2025
We are incredibly proud to announce that LifeSafety.ai has been honoured with the prestigious AI Impact Award at this year's MK STEM Awards. The ceremony, held in Milton Keynes, celebrates the most innovative and impactful contributions to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics in the region.
The award recognises our platform's ability to seamlessly integrate with existing CCTV infrastructure to provide real-time, automated safety monitoring, significantly reducing workplace accidents in high-risk environments.
How LifeSafety.ai Is Making Workplaces Safer
The judges were particularly impressed by the platform's practical application of complex AI models. LifeSafety.ai doesn't just record data; it actively protects workers by detecting safety violations the moment they happen:

Recognised for Real-World Impact
This award serves as validation for our mission to leverage technology for social good. By automating safety compliance, companies can shift their focus from policing rules to building a proactive safety culture.
"We didn't build LifeSafety.ai just to win awards; we built it to save lives. However, receiving this recognition from the MK STEM community is a tremendous honour. It confirms that the industry is ready to embrace AI not just for efficiency, but for the fundamental protection of human life." — Harry Pod, CEO, PODTECH
Looking to the Future
The win comes at a pivotal time for PODTECH as we prepare to roll out LifeSafety.ai version 2.0. The updated platform includes advanced behavioural analysis to predict potential accidents before they occur, as well as wider support for thermal imaging cameras for fire detection.
We are currently piloting these new features with major partners in the construction and manufacturing sectors across the UK.
