Overview
LOLER requires thorough examination of lifting equipment at prescribed intervals by a competent person. This module manages the entire LOLER lifecycle from equipment registration through to examination scheduling, defect management, and certification.
Equipment register tracks all lifting equipment including cranes, hoists, lift trucks, lifting accessories, and passenger/goods lifts. Examination intervals (6 or 12 months) are configured based on equipment type and use, with automatic scheduling ensuring examinations are never missed.
Competent person registers verify examiner qualifications, whilst examination certificates provide the legal documentation required to demonstrate compliance. Defect management workflows ensure equipment is taken out of service until defects are rectified and re-examined.
